Kambo Ceremonies

What is Kambo?
Kambo is a traditional Amazonian medicine derived from the secretion of the giant monkey frog (Phyllomedusa bicolor). Used for centuries by indigenous tribes like the Matsés of Peru, Kambo is renowned for its powerful purgative effects, helping to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit. It shifts 'Panema' (dark energies) and restores balance and vitality, leading to transformative experiences.

How is Kambo applied?
Prior to the ceremony, participants drink 1–2 litres of water to facilitate the purging process. Small burns are made on the skin using a heated tool, creating tiny entry points for the Kambo secretion. The Kambo secretion is applied directly to these gates, allowing the powerful peptides to enter the bloodstream. Participants often experience intense purging, followed by a profound sense of relaxation and clarity.

Pre-treatment Guide
Complete a Client Intake Questionnaire: This is sent to you via email upon booking and must be filled out before attending. It helps assess your health status and suitability for Kambo.
Avoid Excessive Fasting: While some dietary preparation is beneficial, do not fast excessively before the session.
Limit Alcohol and Recreational Drugs: Avoid these substances for at least 24 hours prior to your session to ensure a clear and receptive state.
Drink 1–2 litres of water immediately before the application to prepare your body for the purge.

How to book
In this work, commitment begins with a simple act: reaching out.
It’s not just about reserving a spot, it’s about declaring to yourself (and to us) that you’re ready to show up fully.
When you get in touch, it tells us you’re serious about stepping into this transformative journey. It’s also how we get to know you, your needs, your intentions, and how we can hold space for your unique process. The work starts the moment you say, “I’m ready.”
For those who hesitate, perhaps the timing isn’t right—and that’s okay. But for those who feel the pull, who know they’re ready to step into the journey with courage and commitment, we invite you to take the first step.
